Northwind Rebels
From DrumCorpsWiki
(Redirected from Rebels)
The Northwind Rebels are an inactive junior drum corps based in Oshawa, Ontario.
[edit] History
- The corps was formed in 1991, as a merger of the Rebels and their feeder corps, Northwind. [1]
- Northwind Rebels was created by merging what was left of the Rebels of Oshawa and the NorthWind feeder corps in an attempt to preserve the drum corps activity in the Oshawa, Ontario area while also preserving the legacy of the Rebels name. This attempt ultimately failed a few years after the merger as a result of a lack of recruiting and funding.
- The corps ceased operations after the 1994 season.
