[edit] Legends Drum and Bugle Corps

[edit] History

During the Legends' indoor winter season in 2006, there was a lot of support for a drum corps oriented tour called, "Legends, The Summer Experience." After several meetings and arrangements were made (there were questions as to whether there would be any percussion or a pit in the beginning), The Summer Experience was put into action. Thanks to many volunteers and an amazing staff, 7 trumpets, 2 mellophones, 3 contras, 2 baritones, 2 trombones, 2 snares, 1 cymbal player, 2 tenors, 4 bass drums and a 4 person color guard were able to embark on an eleven day standstill tour playing Ballet Sacra (David Holsinger) and Malaguena (Ernesto Lecuona), both of which were arranged by the corps director, Ibe Sodawalla. Since then, Legends has became a DCI affiliated corps and has performed at several shows in the midwest in exhibition during the 2007 season.
