Bluewater Buccaneers

The Bluewater Buccaneers, were a Class A junior drum and bugle corps based out of Sarnia, Ontario.

The corps competed in the Great Lakes Drum Corps Association, ODCA and CDCA circuit shows.
The corps had three feeder corps: The London Imperials, London Ontario; The Pirates, Sarnia, Ontario and The Raiders, Port Huron, Michigan.
- In 1972 the corps becomes co-ed and invites members of the now-defunct Marching Diplomats to join their ranks under the name of the Bluewater Lionaires.
- In 1974 the corps changes it's name to the Bluewater Buccaneers.
- In 1981 the corps performed at the DCI World Championships for the first time, coming in 7th in the A-Class division.
- In 1987 the corps changes it's name to Northern Dream and moves to Windsor, Ontario.

The Bluewater Buccaneers was the corps where Steve Campbell came from who recieved at the DCI's Individual & Ensemble a 100.0 in the solo snare event with 1986 Concord Blue Devils.
